Ricardo Prudencio aka Deep South was born in México D.F. in 1986 but he was raised in La Paz, Bolivia since 1990. Deep South's psychedelic journey starts in 2004, when he was 17 years old starts DJing in psytrance partys all around Bolivia (club parties and open air festivals). Later on, he played in big psytrance festivals all around South América such as Terra em Trance (Universo Parallello's official after party, Brazil), Earthdance (Argentina), Montemapu (Chile), Arkana, Inti Raymi (Perú), Amazonas - Andes, Andean Spirits, Psyinvasion (Bolivia), and many more! Taking his music to a higher level.
His first release was " Fight Club" in 2007. Nowadays he has more than 20 tracks released in international compilations. His style is very clean and powerful, with strong bass-lines, psychedelic atmospheres and trippy grooves, which leads you into a meditating state through dance. Very happy to be part of "Andean Tribe" & " Neurotrance" the biggest psychedelic families in Bolivia. After 10 years of partying and psy producing, now, Deep South is ready to expand / export these feelings to Europe with the friends of an Italian small label; New MMH Records (New Macky Mad House Records) as they're working hard in the release of his first European label's EP; "RESPIRA” EP, that's going to bey released in the early days of April 2014 in all the good digital stores. This is just the beginning of the biggest adventure of his life.
RESPIRA; Latin, so in Italian and Spanish we say the same word, which, in English, can be translated as “BREATHE” as the track that gives its name to te EP, explains in an emphatic, positively loaded speech... we, together with Ricardo, have chosen this title. BUT it isn't meant as an automatic breathing process, done by all humans, humanoids, and other beings, instinctively, without thinking....but here is more intended as a Cosmic breath...but hey...make it what you wish...

A 4 tracker EP of a Psy Progressive style. He has explained better than we'd ever could how he feels his sound, and we cannot really do anything but fully agree. Otherwise we wouldn't be here writing this note. After the RELAUNCH 2013 started in June 2013, New MMHR has released 8 Eps, this is number 9. These Psytrance EPs range from Darkish, Forest, Full On Underground, Full On Morning, Dark Prog, Progressive, and also Chill Out. Not one identity, but almost the whole spectrum...excluding stuff at 175/180 bpm and beyond, as we don't like that. De gustibus .
